History of Venetian Mirror Solo

Starting from the time I had the opportunity to work in 1981 in the super luxury yacht owned M: S Tropicale "Carnival Cruise Line" which is located in Miami / florida - USA, with a route around the Caribbean islands, as my cabin steward.

After stepping on the 3rd year of my work, the company decided to change the route to the Gulf of Mexico with the port remains in Los Angelos (California). Others in other Caribbean in the Gulf of Mexico, art Aztec Indians very dominant once mainly touches on souvenirs. Suddenly there is a specially appeal that made me want to know more than the works of others. Almost every chance I use to observe, though off time is only 3 hours during the day, only I spent to see the galleries, museums and interior design, especially the hospitality and restaurant that I visit often and it is also useful as a release saturation atmosphere full day's work on the ship.

One day when I entered the restaurant on one of the hotel for lunch destination, I saw there was a carved glass art / engraved stunning hanging over the ceiling and decorate around the walls of the hotel lobby.

While dreaming how to make my set every Thursday afternoon to go to the hotel. During the two months I watched, still in the same city with disbelief I found showroom where glass carving / engraving are displayed neatly.

A short word after no chance of the owner, I was allowed to learn the theory of the technique of making up with its design-design on every Thursday for 2 hours. Within two years it is sufficient to deepen.

Returning to the homeland I chose the town of Solo to establish who was supposed Solo is a repository of the great artists and I do not mleset tenyata allegations, again a big surprise I experienced. Exactly one year I survey and adapt in the city of Solo, with not think not I find a glass artist who was able to make "art glass / engraved" almost similar manner and designnya pembuatanya.

Finally, my dream really come true, and with the results of my savings during the work on the ship and I ventured to start exactly from 28 september 1989 and grow until the present.
